Helly Hansen & Puma Kick Off 2020 With Their Most Robust Footwear Drop Yet
February 7, 2020
PEEP Y-3’S FW16 FOOTWEAR COLLECTION.
Yohji Yamamoto and adidas just dropped their latest Fall/Winter 2016 collection of eclectic ninja trainers. Sticking to what they know best, Yamamoto reworked the Qasa shoe as a high-top boot, and adidas reworked their ever-popular Stan Smith and Superstar editions to fit the collection. The collection, where goth meets sportswear, features detailing such as neoprene bits, bulbous soles, and minimalist Velcro straps. Keeping in tune with Yohji Yamamoto’s infamous aesthetic, the collection kept things fashion-forward and future yet minimal at the same time, weaving together a web of colourways featuring black-on-black with neon orange. All in all, the collection has a vibe that is safely in the now, yet also highly adventurous. The line caters to both men and women, with a number of unisex pieces, such as the Kohna trainer.
Y-3 has yet to announce a date for when the FW16 collection will drop at select retailers – keep your eyes peeled!
