NEKFEU MAY BE THE NEXT BEST THING TO COME OUT OF FRANCE. HERE’S WHY.
The French roadman aesthetic is a genre yet to be explored in all its glory. Quick to join the craze of hip men in NIKE caps and artists trendy enough to rock loud statement pieces by the likes of Andrea Crews on stage, Nekfeu is leading lights in bridging the worlds of French rap and cutting-edge international fashion. Ken Samaras, originally from the commune of La Trinité in the south of France, has been active in the world of French hip-hop since 2001, when he was just 11 years old. But Nekfeu’s career just began to kick off in France last year, making him an urban style icon in the French scene. Frequently rocking Andrea Crews and partnering up with Paris’ most innovative street wear; he’s one to look out for.
